Happy Birthday Davy Jones and Mike Nesmith

 One of my all time favorite groups,The Monkees, has two members with birthdays today.I'd like to say Happy 67th birthday to a wonderful man, Davy Jones. He may be gone, but never forgotten. Happy birthday Mr. Michael Nesmith. May you be blessed with many more.

What a Great Gesture

 Legendary Musician Jon Bon Jovi has a restaurant where he allows patrons to pay what they are able to or volunteer in exchange for their meal. How nice of him. Not only does he have good music,he's a pretty nice guy too!

Cleveland Concert

 The Monkees just performed in Cleveland,Ohio tonight.I heard it was quite a show.

The Beach Boys Reunion Tour To Soon End ?

  I heard Beach Boys won't be touring together much longer for their 50th anniversary.Apparently there are some disagreements.It's unfortunate,especially with such a legendary and talented group.Life is short enough already.It's easier to overlook differences now than to look back after it's too late and regret decisions made.Hopefully, it can be mended for the sake of the fans, and more importantly,for themselves.

To One Of My Favorite Crooners

  I'd like to dedicate this first post to one of my favorite crooners, Mr.Andy Williams who passed away earlier this week. He had one of the most beautiful voices.Listening to his music could make you feel happy.May he rest in peace.
